Melrose Knitting Mill
The Historic Melrose Knitting Mill sits perched high atop 309 N. Dawson Street welcoming guests to a true destination within the heart of the city.
The Melrose Knitting Mill features brick walls with large windows surrounding the entire outside of the venue. Exposed ceilings and hardwood floors had to the ambiance of the venue.
Natural Light
The nearly floor to ceiling windows at Melrose allow lots of light to flood into the venue. There are many benefits of shooting with natural light including bringing out the natural beauty of the bride and groom. Though many times you can only do natural light shots outdoors, our venue is conducive to getting these shots when the sun is shining. You will also be able to get great images when the sun is beginning to set.
Natural light gives your photos a bright and airy quality that can be difficult to achieve using studio lights.
We love that not only do brides, grooms, and guests love our venue, but so do photographers!
