First things first, consider the overall vibe you are going for on your wedding day. Is this an intimate ceremony or a huge party? Remember, you’ll need music for the seating of guests, the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. If you want a dance party at your reception, or if there is limited space, a DJ is a great option for you.

Are you having an intimate wedding? A string quartet is always so beautiful. If your budget allows, consider having a string quartet for the ceremony portion and cocktail hour and move to a band or DJ for the reception or after-party — there’s music to please everyone on your guest list.
